Time for a new Mod Pack?

Okay, its been way too long... and Tekkit Lite still has had know updates. And due to certain forum rules, one can't find out if when they will ever come. This has unfortunate implications... the Technic team may no longer be working on Tekkit Lite. :(

We need some of the new things brought by newer versions of Minecraft, and only updated packs like "Tekkit" or "Hexxit" have them. So you might be asking, why haven't we switched to the new Tekkit already? Well, it's just...

The new Tekkit isn't as good.
It's missing the loads of machines and blocks that made cool things possible, such as those provided by the mod RedPower. Granted, the author stop working on that one, but the new Tekkit is filled with more gimmicky mods such as going into "space". Tekkit was more designed for building than for adventure. And these other packs all have different focuses entirely. But on that note,

Maybe more adventure is what you guys want.
