The following list is subject to change at any time.

1 (Guest)

First Join

These are people who connected to the server for the first time. Since they are so new, we do not know if they will be staying or just passing through. Malicious players often jump between servers to see what problems they can cause, without ever intending to become a member. For this reason we cannot immediately trust these players so Guests do not get any permissions. Also, the new player may be new to Minecraft so this is the perfect opportunity to help these players out!

2 (New)

5 Minutes later

Since these players are still connected after five minutes, they probably are real players who really want to play. Hopefully they are not just here to cause grief, so at this point we give them basic build rights and the spawn command. Please introduce yourself to the newbs!

3 (normal member)

1 Hour or 1 Referral, or Next day

These players have become full members of the Epsilon. They have been playing for an hour so obviously they have been doing something. Let's ease them in to full membership by adding the rest of the necessities:

Go /home
Create & Destroy special signs (Disposal, Mail, Protection, Trade...)
Use special signs
See server sell /worth
See the time left until a tombstone expires
See the nearby players with /near
Teleport to your death location (/deathtp)
Pay people
Create ChestShops
Use kits
Operate TravelPads
Create one (1) TravelPad of your own
Create a forcefield PreciousStone
/buck people who are riding you
Stop riding
Can be referred by someone

4 (great member)

7 Different Days or 2 Referrals

To get here, you need to refer a new player. Tell them to type /referred by and as a benefit to them they will be quickly promoted to Member! Member+'s are the ordinary players on the Epsilon. They aren't the best, most frequent players, but they are certainly not new. The member+ rank makes up most of the community of the Epsilon. In addition to the basics gained up until now, Members get some nice perks:

Basic Member features, such as:
See when palyers join and their approximate physical location
Send /mail
Vote in elections
Delete and Set a home
Set your /home (/sethome)
Purchase /God mode
Get coordinates with /getpos
Create a second TravelPad
Clear one's own inventory with /ci
Ability to become VIP
See list of one's tombstones
Get details about a player and see behind a nickname with /whois

5 (v.i.p.)

5 Hours weekly

This promotion is probably worth the most! Whenever the Epsilon adds a cool new feature, or for all the fun addons, these players reap most of the benefits. This list is always changing:

Chat in color
Spawn pigs on command
Create colored signs
Own and craft restricted Tekkit items
Portable crafting table workbench /workbench
Create up to three travelpads
Teleport to coordinates with /tppos
Spawn a /bigtree
Set multiple homes
Repair Enchanted tools and weapons
Set your personal client time with /ptime
View /ontime of other players
Find tombstone with compass
Change your own weather with /pweather

6 (elite)

24 Hours monthly

These players are the creme of the crop. They may not always be friendly, so stay out of their way. They are always very powerful. If you become Elite, here's some things you can do.

/Back command - revert ANY teleport instantly, including return to death point
Heal one's self and others
Colorize your nickname
TorchLight - Hold a torch while walking to illuminate the area!
Powertools - run a set command everytime you click with a chosen item
Allowed to move while waiting for a teleport
Create tombstones out of large chests

7 (master)

Positioned in top 5 players

These players are rare, and most do not stay up here for long.This rank is the highest achievable, without admin intervention. The benefits list of this rank is secret. We can however, share with you a few awesome perks:

Bypass all teleport delays
Jump to the location you are looking with /jump
Bypass teleport cooldowns
Tombstone created even without a chest
Can chat from the Emap

Normal players, your ranks stop here.

8 [Moderator]

Prove yourself a big help and a fair player.

These people are Masters but they are assigned some special permissions to help deal with people. You cannot achieve this rank naturally.

Monitor server performance statistics (/speed monitor)
Extinguish people
Visit homes of others
See inventories of others
Jail people
Create new warps
Set other's /ptime
Unban players
Unban IPs
Have a sound played when your name is mentioned
Send mail to everyone
